Advice and Mediation
Giving advice to clients in the event of an imminent conflict with any crewmembers concerning their medical condition and its associated consequences. Placing the matter in the hands of a lawyer if such proves to be necessary, but only after permission from the client. The lawyer’s fees are not included in the services provided by AIM.
It is often preferable to effect an out-of- court settlement of a claim to submitting the claim to arbitration. AIM has gained extensive experience in reaching a settlement agreement at an early stage. A settlement attempt will only be made after the client has been informed and advised, and close contact will be maintained with the client throughout the entire process.
